Giovanni Barreca is accused of the murder of his wife and two children, killed during an exorcism. His alleged accomplices: Sabrina Fina and Massimo Carandente, remain in prison.
Autopsies will be performed on the charred remains of the woman, found buried near the family's home. It is not yet clear how Antonella Salamone was killed, the two brothers, who the father believed were possessed by the devil and who were also tortured, were suffocated.
