Meloni, the government working to stop the pickpocketing racket - last minute. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni commented on social media yesterday's news of the woman beaten by her exploiters for the little loot they gleaned on the Rome metro.
"The Government has had the courage to intervene on this phenomenon, to which others have turned a blind eye, with the anti-pickpocketing measures contained in the Security Package, currently under consideration by Parliament", adds the Prime Minister.
