"Russia's ambitions extend beyond Ukraine and therefore" NATO "as a whole must be more prepared", says Lieutenant Admiral Rob Bauer, chairman of the NATO Military Committee. "I don't think there is a direct threat," Bauer said from Latvia yesterday, according to local newspaper Leta.
