[HIGHLIGHTS] NGOs, 'allocate 2% of GDP to the fight against climate and poverty'

On June 22 and 23, the "Summit for a new global financial pact" will be held in Paris. At that time, the Italian government will have to commit itself to guaranteeing at least 2% of GDP to combat global warming.

This is the appeal that was launched today by the NGOs of young activists The One Campaign (against poverty) and Italian Climate Network (against climate change), during a press conference in the Chamber. By 2050 it is estimated that Africa will need $50 billion a year to adapt to climate change, but currently it receives only $18.5 billion.
