One worker died and another was seriously injured after the explosion of a fuel tank in Río Negro. The fatal victim was 66 years old and his partner, who suffered serious burns, was 45.
Both were welding the tank of a tanker truck at the time of the incident. The owner of the company where both victims worked, José Luis Rasys, was "dismayed by what happened" and stated that "probably the high temperatures could have influenced the explosion," according to the Catriel 25 portal.
