Pecorino Romano Dop included among the hard cheeses in the national list of food products to be allocated to charitable organizations for the sustenance of poor people. Agea, the Agency for agricultural disbursements, has determined the criteria for carrying out a public tender aimed at the supply of 3.3 million euros.

"It is an initiative of great importance for the Sardinian dairy sector because it helps to stabilize prices on the market and consequently also those of sheep's milk," says Gianni Maoddi.
