British writer Erica Longdon has written a work specifically designed to read to dogs to calm them down or even put them to sleep. A recent study found that reading aloud strengthens bonds with children.
Longdon's guests are not elementary school children, but dogs. She reads to them from her new book “Bedtime Tales For Dogs” or in German ‘Bedtime Stories for Dogs’ “We take our dogs for granted. We are always on our screens – even when we go for a walk. I see people on the beach with their dogs who still don't engage," she says.
