Families of the buildings near the location of the event, who had been displaced as a precaution, were able to return to their homes. The anonymous call had arrived at 112 late in the evening and warned of the presence of a 'package bomb' inside Villa Nobel. The order to evacuate the premises and homes near the structure was immediate and the police, anti-explosive dog unit, firefighters and bomb squad arrived on site.
