The Italian tertiary sector recorded its third consecutive monthly expansion in March, thanks to the rapid increase in orders. The Hcob PMI services index rose last month to 54.6 from 52.2 in February.
This is precisely the third consecutive month in which the sector is positioned above the threshold of 50.0, signaling a new positive trend in tertiary activity. The French tertiarysector contracts slightly, going to 48.3 from 48.4 in February, above the forecast of 47.8.
