[HIGHLIGHTS] Severe storms, extreme heat and rain: what are the alerts from the National Weather Service for this February 28

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) issues an orange level alert for severe storms for the north of Santa Fe. A yellow alert is in effect for storms that may be strong in towns of Misiones, Corrientes, Chaco, Santiago del Estero, Tucumán, Salta and Jujuy.

An orange alert for extreme temperatures due to heat is also in effect. The agency's warnings apply to eight provinces in the center and north of the country.
