Since 7 October, 200 discriminatory acts have been reported in Italy. From 7 October to 31 December, 200 reports of discriminatory acts were received by the Oscad observatory, compared to 17 in the same period in 2022.

There is widespread heterogeneity in behavior and there have only been 9 reports reported, because many of the events are at the limit of the threshold of criminal relevance. The Chief of Police, Vittorio Pisani, said this at the Parliamentary Commission for the fight against intolerance, racism and anti-Semitism.
