Marta Rossetti is the new Italian special slalom champion. Federica Brignone, however, came out in the second heat, second after the first heat.
Emilia Mondinelli confirmed her place on the Italian podium, third at 0"34 from Rossetti and outgoing champion after last season's success. For both, this is the first medal at the overall Italian championships. The Piedmontese Mondinelli was in the lead at mid-race, but finished 0"10 behind Rossetti.
