A fire broke out on the fifth floor of a newly built 14-storey building in Valencia, in the Campanar district. At least seven people were injured in the fire - reports El Pais -: a firefighter treated for a fracture, two firefighters taken to hospital for smoke inhalation, as well as four civilians, including a minor.
The Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, is following the developments of the fire. "I am dismayed by the terrible fire that broke out," he wrote on Twitter.
