Ludovit Odor, deputy governor of the Slovak National Bank (NBS), will be appointed premier. The foreign minister will be diplomat Miroslav Wlachovsky.
The defense ministry will be headed by Martin Sklenar, a close associate of outgoing Defense Minister Jaroslav Nad. Michal Horvath, the central bank's chief economist, will head finance. Caputova said she had been working on the team's formation since January, since the no-confidence vote of Eduard Heger's government dates back to December 2022.
