Giacomo Losi was the third player with the most appearances for the Giallorossi (behind only Totti and De Rossi). Losi, born in Soncino (province of Cremona), was immediately adopted by the capital as soon as he arrived there in 1954, aged nineteen.

Several hundred people filled the parish in the neighborhood of the northern quadrant of the capital where the former champion lived. Many older fans admired Losi's exploits live: they were saddened by the farewell to a symbol of Rome and to football that no longer exists.
