Frankfurt and Amsterdam grow by a timid 0.2%, with Paris up by 0.4% and London by half a percentage point. Milan did well (+0.9%) and above all Madrid, which rose by 1.2%.
Both lists were pushed by the banks after the accounts of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) whose shares rose by 4%. The BTP-Bund spread rose slightly to 152 basis points, increasing by 2% to 28.7 euros per megawatt hour for gas.
