From Sunday at 22 p.m. sharp, the EDC will go on strike.

The railway is suspending long-distance traffic, but local traffic is also affected. According to the ADAC, traffic jams are expected on all motorways – even if the railway is still trying to take legal action against the planned strike at the last minute. The strike affects the whole of Germany, it is the largest rail strike since the company was founded in 1994. Since the end of February, EVG has been negotiating new collective agreements with 50 railway companies for 230,000 employees.
