Maya Wertheimer and Assaf Zamir were officially married in New York on Saturday. The two married in a Reform ceremony six years ago, but never registered as common-law couples.
The couple are returning to Israel after a year and a half living in the U.S. with the sweet heiress Asia. The wedding was arranged by Zamir as a "surprise" for Wertheimers, who said she didn't know what he was planning until he threw her in a taxi.
