Jasmine Paolini reaches the semifinals of the "Duty Free Tennis Championships" in Dubai. The Italian n.26 in the ranking benefited from the withdrawal of the Kazakh Elena Rybakina, n.4, due to a gastrointestinal virus.
Paolini will play for entry into the final either with the Czech Marketa Vondrousova or the Romanian Sorana Cirstea. It is the first semi-final in her career in a '1000' tournament for the Italian.
