Councilor of Quilmes, Nair Abad, was doused with alcohol and set on fire after an argument with her partner. She was hospitalized in critical condition and died on Tuesday of a cardiorespiratory arrest.

The incident happened on Saturday around 10.30, when Abad arrived at the house of his ex-partner, identified as Federico Franco. Police sources confirmed to Clarín that the event that triggered the burns occurred in the kitchen of the house, although the mechanics are still being investigated.
