The Government grants a million-dollar subsidy to Volunteer Firefighters for the fires of the last year. There are 11,679 million pesos that the Ministry of Security decided to deliver to the 1,050 entities.
They argue that due to the natural disasters of recent months and others that may occur, they may need to acquire more material. “Given the large-scale disasters that have occurred in different provinces... it may be necessary to provide the most affected firefighting entities with equipment,” states the text of resolution 94/2024.
