Nissan Canaan, one of the pioneers of tower design in Israel, passed away last month. Canaan designed the Century Tower, where the first curtain wall in Israel was designed.
Canaan planned many residential neighborhoods, such as the Azorei Chen neighborhood and Ne'eman Towers in Tel Aviv. In 1992, together with his wife, the late Arch. Danit Shenhav, he founded the firm "Canaan-Shenhav Architects", which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary.
