The restoration works of the Flag Monument were paralyzed due to late payments. The intention was to finish the arrangements before the event on June 20, with the presence of Javier Milei.
The purpose of the works is to enhance the Monument, with cleaning work on the façade, general improvements to the sculptures and waterproofing of surfaces. But now they are on hold, due to the payment arrears of the previous government and in the midst of the announcement of the stoppage of public works.
