The Senate scuttles Milei's mega decree at first reading - Last hour. With 42 votes against, 25 in favor and 4 abstentions, the Argentine Senate rejected the mega-decree.

To be definitively rejected, the decree must be rejected by both Houses of Parliament. In case of defeat in the Chamber too, it would be the first time that a presidential decree has been rejected by Parliament since the return of democracy in 1983. Reproduction reserved © Copyright ANSA.
