The UBA declared itself in a "state of extreme concern" due to lack of funds and requested an update of the budget. The Superior Council assured that the expenses of the study house increased by 200% in the last year.
The measure comes because the entity is currently operating with the 2023 budget. In addition, the rector of the university is expected to make a presentation to the Ministry of Human Capital in order to claim for teaching and non-teaching parity. The University of Buenos Aires demanded the renewal of items, after the extension of the 20 23 Budget.
