"The Winchesters" was one of the many series that were canceled at the Upfronts in May by the small network The CW. Producer Jensen Ackles promised to look for a new home for the series after the bad news.
Ackles ended the #SaveTheWinchesters campaign on Twitter as follows: "I couldn't be prouder of what we've all accomplished together. But as they say, timing is everything. Sleep well, @WincestersOnCW... Maybe we'll see each other again"
