Axel Malvar, 21, was on the beach with three friends and, together with one of them, decided to enter the water. The incident occurred between 6 and 6.30 this Monday and was recorded by security cameras.
The authorities indicated that "weather and sea conditions do not allow a boat to enter to expedite the search," despite the improvement in wind conditions during the last few hours.
