Ornella Saiu, 40, was killed on May 31 in the resort of Playa del Carmen. She was shot in the face by a man who was serving her at a restaurant.
Three people have been arrested in connection with the murder. The three will be made available to the judicial authorities. The victim was originally from Sardinia and was working at the restaurant at the time of her death.
