Toby Keith, figure of country music in the United States, has died. The American singer died Monday evening at the age of 62.

The singer, best known for his 1993 hit "Should've Been a Cowboy", announced in 2022 that he was suffering from stomach cancer. On January 20, 2017 at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, he gave a concert with other groups, Lee Greenwood, Tim Rushlow and a few others, for the inauguration ceremony of Donald Trump as the 45th president.
