As many as 68 million tourists, almost 267 million overnight stays expected in summer 2023. Positive effect also on tourism spending: estimated at around 46 billion euros, with a growth of 5.4% compared to 2022.
35.3 million foreigners choose Italy, equal to just over half (51.7%) of the total number of expected arrivals with 131.5 million presences. Emilia-Romagna tourism system is among the top ten Italian regional destinations for an increase in arrivals in 2023: 6.3m compared to 6.1m in 2022.
