The baby elephant strayed from its herd and fell into a pit, six meters deep. Workers discovered the baby elephant, but were unable to help it because other specimens were roaming the area.
Rescuers then intervened with an excavator to dig a path in the earth. After long hours of going in circles, the baby extricated himself from the well. The little one is not injured and has returned to his herd without incident. The rescue took place on February 16, 2024.
