High pressure and sun will dominate from Scotland to Sweden, expanding also over England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. On the Mediterranean instead, especially between Italy and Spain, we will have thunderstorms for at least another 7-8 days.
A wedge of the Azores Anticyclone has now positioned itself lazily between the British Isles and Scandinavia. Northern Europe is covered and protected by the anticyclone, while on the eastern flank fresh and unstable currents flow towards the Mare Nostrum.
