"Blue Bloods" has recently been anything but a ratings hit in CBS's programming. The eye network set a condition for the renewal for season 14: cast and creatives would have to settle for lower pay so that the lights of the production stay on.
Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan and Will Estes, as well as showrunner Kevin Wade, are returning for the new episodes. There are rumours of a 25 percent reduction in fees.
