CBS offered few surprises at this year's Upfronts. After all, the network had already made the majority of the decisions well in advance. However, which series are going into renewal on CBS?
Since CBS threw only a few series out of the program, a whole bunch of old acquaintances remained, which we can look forward to in the coming television season. In addition to popular crime series, there are also numerous comedies.
Blue Bloods
"Blue Bloods" has recently been anything but a ratings hit in CBS's programming, which is why the eye network set a condition for the renewal for season 14: cast and creatives would have to settle for lower pay so that the lights of the production stay on and other crew members can also still be paid. Apparently they agreed, because another season has now officially received the green light and is being produced. An average of 5.99 million viewers tuned in with a rating of 0.39.
According to Deadline, core stars Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan and Will Estes, as well as showrunner Kevin Wade, are returning for the new episodes.
