FIFA is demanding 15 to 20 million euros to broadcast the Women's World Cup. The tournament will take place in New Zealand and Australia.

The competition was scheduled from July 20 to August 20, a period when television consumption is traditionally at its lowest. No less than five European ministers called for "quickly finding an arrangement" so that the tournament could be broadcast. If no deal is reached it will be difficult to make the tournament profitable for the broadcasters. For more information on how to get involved in the tournament click here.
