Alessandro Miressi wins silver in the 100m freestyle at the swimming world championships in Doha. The Italian finished in second place with a time of 47.72 behind the Chinese Zanie Pan, who took gold in 47.53.
The bronze was won by the Hungarian Nandor Nemeth (47.78) "I'm among the best in the world, I'm very happy with this result", Miresso says. "Our thoughts are in Paris and we need to think big", he adds.
