You should remove green, white or brown balls as quickly as possible. The bug, also known as the stink bug, is an invasive species that is spreading more and more in Germany.
Under good conditions, the bug reproduces particularly well and lays an average of around 200 eggs, but sometimes up to 450 eggs. If you discover the eggs in the garden or even in your own home, you should destroy them. It is best to catch adult bugs and release them, otherwise they will spray a strong-smelling secretion.
