President of Argentina, Javier Maili, planted a tree in the KKL-Junk Grove of Nations in the capital. Millay is the first leader of one of the world's countries to participate in this important tradition in Israel since the outbreak of the war on October 7.

"The arrival of the Argentine president strengthens us in the difficult days when terrorist organizations are attacking us from the south and the north," said KL chairman Yifat Ovadia Loski. "We all hope that the visit will help in the efforts to return the abductees who are held captive by the terrorist organization Hamas," he added.
