Ilan Pepini, the 61-year-old pilot who was killed after his plane crashed yesterday (Friday) in Megiddo in the Jezreel Valley, has been laid to rest. Pepini was seriously injured in the crash, and after being rushed to the Emek Hospital in Safed, he was pronounced dead.
At the age of 16 he flew a rocket that landed inside the Rafael factory, and when he grew up he analyzed Iron Dome systems, Scuds and air and ground missiles.
