Hundreds said goodbye to the late Marshal Ran Rani Goili, a Negev police officer, at a farewell ceremony at the Mitar athletics field. Goyili, 24, lived in Mitar and was killed in a battle in Alumim on October 7.

His body was kidnapped and held by Hamas terrorists. "Thanks to heroes like Rani, there were no unknown deaths," said Lt. Col. Guy Medar, who fought with Rani. His sister Shira, in her painful voice, told about her older brother, the hero of her life.
