Ari Haro, the former chief of staff of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office who serves as a state witness, was convicted today (Wednesday) of fraud and breach of trust. This, after he admitted as part of a plea deal in the sale of the "H3 Global" consulting company that he owned.

The expected punishment for Haro is six months of community service and a fine of NIS 700,000, but it is still subject to the court's decision. According to the indictment, the fictitious sale is what allowed Haro to take the position of Chief of Staff in the Prime Minister's Office in 2014.
