“Cash for Rares” sellers only wanted 80 euros – but the bids are skyrocketing. Evelin and Wolfgang, the happy owners of a pair of silver Saliers, were able to turn an old gift into cash.
Each Saliere consists of two halves of a scallop, the insides and the spoons are gold-plated. The handles are designed in the shape of two dolphins. Ultimately, van Katwijk secured the set with a final bid of 320 euros.
