The transformation laboratory is a funding project of the Donors' Association for German Science. Loisachstadt applied together with the Munich University of Applied Sciences for inclusion in the program - and was awarded the contract. The museum, which opened in February 2023 with the adjacent shop café and the city tourist information center, has developed into a “central and identity-forming place”
