Bruno Piriou, the mayor of Corbeil-Essonnes, was hospitalized in cardiology. The 59-year-old elected official felt unwell during the night from Saturday to Sunday.
“I am doing as well as possible and I would like to thank everyone who expressed their support to me,” wrote the elected official in his press release. No return date has yet been announced, but Bruno PiriOU intends to take advantage of his stay to question the state of the public service and more particularly the public hospital.
