The mother, identified by sources as Selma McLean, had called the police twice to report that she had been assaulted by her daughter. It was not immediately clear what charges she might face. The daughter, identified as Skydajah Patterson, was taken into custody. The victim was transported to Lincoln Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
