Charlotte and Didier Poux share their life… and their liver. Charlotte donated part of her liver organ to her husband, who was then suffering from cancer.
Didier received part of Charlotte's liver in 2021 at the hepato-biliary center of the Paul-Brousse AP-HP hospital, in Vienne, France. “I needed my husband more than my liver”: she saved her husband from cancer through living donation. ‘I had persistent pain on my left side,’ says the 58-year-old man.
