The municipality of Fontenay-aux-Roses wanted the city to be one of the volunteers to experiment with the unique school outfit from next fall. The school council of the elementary of the Park, however, overwhelmingly rejected the project.
For the local political opposition, it is a “real disavowal, a snub for the mayor’s office”, says a local politician. The vote was held Monday evening, with 29 people — 14 teachers, 13 parents, the director and the mayor — who voted by secret ballot.
