Christophe Béchu confirms that from February 15 the method of calculating the energy performance diagnosis (EPD) of small areas will be changed. The minister is preparing to allow certain housing units whose maximum surface area could be set between 30 m2 and 50 m2, to leave the scope of the G or F rating.
This rectification of the way the EPD is calculated should make it possible to remove a little more than 140,000 from their sieve status, he says.
