[HIGHLIGHTS] “Wells are becoming more and more important”

There has been a drinking fountain in Andechs since World Water Day. It is the third in the AWA-Ammersee where drinking water is available free of charge.

The wells are becoming increasingly important in times of rising temperatures caused by climate change. “And the fountains guarantee a high standard of hygiene because they flush themselves and are regularly checked,” says AWA board member Maximilian Bleimaier. “Wells are becoming more and more important”.
