Hind Rajab, a 6-year-old Palestinian girl, was hit by tank fire in Gaza. The only survivor, the little girl called the Red Crescent for help on the telephone and the communication was recorded and broadcast on social networks.
“Even an adult could not cope with such a situation. Put yourself in Hind’s shoes,” says Red Crescent operator Rana. In addition to the girl and her family, two paramedics from the organization died during the rescue operation.
